Following a series of collaborations and hit performances, Wataten 5 will be performing their first solo concert for a global audience in 2021.

Wataten 5 will stream their first global concert on February 6 (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Those who miss the live show will have access to the performance until February 12. The concert will stream in the United States, Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea. It will also be shown in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

This will be a pay-per-view event and tickets will go on sale starting on January 20th. To commemorate this concert, an extended cut of “Delicious Smile” will be available to watch on January 18 (via YouTube).

Wataten 5 is a musical group made up of the main voice cast of the series Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me. The group features Maria Sashide (who voices Hana Shirosaki), Rika Nagae (who voices Hinata Hoshino), Akari Kito (who plays Noa Himesaka), Hitomi Owada (who voices Koyori Tanemura), and Naomi Ozora (who plays Kanon Konomori).

WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me is an anime adaptation of the yuri comedy that premiered in early 2019. It follows the antics of a shy college student who is trying to get along with her sisters friends. The anime series is currently available to watch on Crunchyroll.

At the time of writing, there is no word about their adaptation of the Mya-nee song (fans of the series and meme know what I’m talking about).
